Chit Chat Fund is a chit fund but one that does not benefit from the misery of the community members.
It looks to hold on to the essence of resource pooling of a chit fund but subvert one of its core principles. Moving from competitive bidding to collective giving. The community decides to ‘gift’ a portion of the fund to the community member(s) in need of it.

Chit Chat fund is a community fund where money is pooled through micro contributions from members.

Whenever somebody needs money for personal or project expenses, they post it in the group and if nobody has an objection, the money is transferred to their account.

Every month, a different member volunteers collect contributions from various members, through their UPI.

The money is given, as a gift not as a loan. in most cases when their financial situation improves, they can gift whatever they wish back.
